-Brompton Quarter Brasserie first opened its doors in 2006. It started its life as a cafe based on owner, Doron Zilkha’s, long career in the industry, which all started with a small cafe in Hampstead in 1996.
Having lived in the neighbourhood since 2000, Doron had long had his eye on the amazing corner location of Brompton Quarter. When it eventually became available, he and his wife, Valeria, were delighted and wasted no time in starting to grow their vision.
As Valeria became more involved in the business, leaving behind her demanding career in fashion, Brompton Quarter Cafe became Brompton Quarter Brasserie, a stylish eatery with great quality food, equally loved by their local clientele as well as passing tourists.
-We are located between South Kensington and Knightsbridge stations, on the Brompton Road, 223-225, within easy walking distance of both stations.
We are also just 5 min walking distance from Harrods, 3 min from the V&A and 5 min from the Natural History Museum.
South Kensington station is on both the District and Circle Lines and Knightsbridge is on the Piccadilly Line.
We are also serviced by a number of bus routes, amongst others the No 14, 414 and C1, which all stop a few paces away from us.

-The Spirit of Equus is inspired by Susan’s relationship with her stunning Arabian pure bred horses, for which she has a long-standing passion. Susan is internationally known as an actress, but breeding Arabian horses has become the passion of her second life. 15 years ago, this led to her and her late husband, actor Simon MacCorkindale, setting up a stud farm in the rolling hills and wilds of Exmoor National Park. It is here that Susan developed a keen eye and an extraordinary talent for capturing the poetic beauty of these horses on camera. Inspired by her animals, Susan felt compelled to show off their beauty to the world. The warm and welcoming Brompton Quarter Brasserie is the perfect place to showcase her, and their, wonderful talent.
